To date we as a family have worked very hard and I am proud to report have saved $400 for the trip....update on Majic Childrens Fund to come.

So far we have raised $50 (Thanks to my Daughter). This brings us to $2950. We will keep an update on this blog so everyone can see where we are! Why Do We Need Your Donations?

Hello, Let me thank you for reading this! I have set up this blog because two of my three children have been selected to travel to Denmark this summer and dance in the VI Annual International Young Dancers Festival.

This is a chance of a lifetime.

My kids are 13 and 11. They work so hard! Dancing under the tutelage of Mr. Vladimir Issaev of the Arts Ballet Theatre of Florida. Dancing six days a week, studing classical ballet as serious as many professional dancers. Yet these two young kids keep up their grades and maintain honor roll standards!

They perform with The Arts Ballet Theatre of Florida 4 times a year. Mr. Issaev is a wonderful instructor who has taken my son and daughter under his wing. He is taking quite a few students to Denmark, but the plane tickets will be about $1200.00 each. Unfortunatly my husband and I have fallen on very hard times lioke so may Americans this last year. I can barely afford to keep my daughters tution payments current (thank God my son is under scholorship). Our income is less than half of what it was last year.

The kids want this trip so much we are having a garage sale to raise money for the trip and my daughter is selling candy (that we buy on sale) at her school . So far she has made about $30. The total expenses for their trip will be about $3,000.00.
The kids have already decided not to take thier class trips with school just so they can use every penny we can scrape for the plane ticket to Denmark.

These two children are very talented and they want so badly to have this opportunity! This is a chance that I could never have dreamed of for them.
If you are a lover of the arts or just a generous person fortunate enough to be in the position to donate a few dollars we would really appreicate your support!
